My name is Ellen Putman, I am an avid card maker and paper crafter, and an Independent Stampin’ Up Demonsrator from Livonia, Michigan.

Finding Stampin’ Up`
I was introduced to Stampin’ Up by a close friend, who was attending monthly card classes, and asked if I wanted to join her. I went to a “Stamp a Stack” class, where we made 5 cards, and I was hooked! I could not wait to go again!
Stampin’ Up products are so beautiful and I soon found that I wanted so many of them, that in 2018, I was “persuaded” by Julie Gilson to become a Hobby Demonstrator, but I’d much rather be referred to as a Discount Shopper.
I mean why not get a 20% discount on items that I was going to buy anyway!
Let the Sale Begin
I purchased so many beautiful products, and with my husband’s support and talent, created a beautiful craft space where I could enjoy my new hobby, and begin my retirement doing one of the things I love to do most.
In 2019, I attended my first On Stage event, a gathering that Stampin’ Up organizes, which brings together Demonstrators from all over the country, to network, introduce new products, and to recognize those who have built successful businesses from their hobby of paper crafting.
It was at this event, that I began to believe that I too could build a business from my craft as well, but to be totally truthful, I met some of the most amazing women! I love to craft with others, and these people were all so amazingly encouraging and talented, I realized I would have a never ending supply of knowledge, support and inspiration as I moved forward.
A New Venture
My Business is in its infancy, and I am honored and delighted to have you all show an interest!
As you can see by my logo, I am calling my new venture “Stamping In the Garden.” The reason I chose this name is two-fold, the street I have lived on since I was 7 years old is Garden St, and my other passion is in fact Gardening.
